MARAMIS Week 2024: Using a cultural lens to strengthen the family violence response system

The Northern Integrated Family Violence Services in partnership with inTouch are delivering this free event in occasion of 2024 MARAM and Information Sharing Week.

The session will be delivered by Asha, Lead Practitioner - Therapeutic Programs and Manjula Coordinator- Motivation for Change Program from inTouch who will speak to Using a cultural lens to strengthen the family violence response system.

Following a presentation, participants will have the opportunity engage in a Q&A.

Who should attend?

This session is open to both specialist and non-specialist family violence practitioners under MARAM.

What is MARAM and Information Sharing Week?
MARAM and Information Sharing Week aims to:

• Increase awareness and understanding of MARAM and information sharing in practice.

• Provide departmental/sector staff with the opportunity to focus and reflect on our shared understanding and practice in identifying and responding to family violence.

• Celebrate good practice and listen to personal experiences of survivors, practitioners, and service providers.

Unfortunately we are unable to record this session. All practitioners are encouraged to participate on the day of the session.
