Event description

🌈 QUEER YOUTH TO THE FRONT! 🌈

It’s Melbourne’s biggest Pride festival, and you’re invited to march with Minus18 at Midsumma Pride March 2026!

This is your chance to join the loudest, proudest celebration of LGBTQIA+ community in Melbourne, alongside Minus18, Australia’s champions for LGBTQIA+ youth.

Our youth events are usually just for 12-19 year olds, but Pride March is special: it’s for everyone. That means parents, guardians, family, friends, allies, sports teams, school pride groups, even pets, can all stand proudly with the LGBTQIA+ young people in their lives.

✨ And yep: the first 150 young people (13-18) to arrive will get exclusive early access to Queer Formal Melbourne tickets, and trust us, they always sell out fast.

Registrations are free but essential!

  • Youth Workers will be marching too, so you just bring yourself and we’ll look after the safety side.

👥 Info for Groups and Adults

  • Teachers, pride group leaders, community orgs - register your group of young people using the group ticket options. We may reach out beforehand to chat about group size and support needs.

  • Parents, guardians, carers, and family members: we love seeing you marching with your young people. Please note though, all adults must march with a young person - no solo adults.

🎟️ About that Queer Formal early access...

Yep, it’s real. The first 150 young people who both register and show up on the day get exclusive early access to Melbourne Queer Formal tickets - the hottest Minus18 event which sells out every year. Tickets drop in May.
