Market Update with Lisa Maro: Victoria’s Transport Procurement Pipeline

The Market Update on Victoria’s Transport Procurement Pipeline is a focused briefing and networking event for manufacturers and service providers working across the state’s major transport projects, from road and rail infrastructure to the build, operations and maintenance of rolling stock (trains, trams and buses).

Hosted by ICN Victoria, the session is led by Lisa Maro, a highly regarded supply chain specialist whose one-to-one consultations are now being delivered in this new group format to maximise reach and impact for the supply chain.

Event overview

Victoria’s transport investment program continues at scale, spanning the Suburban Rail Loop (SRL), North East Link Program (NELP), Sunshine Superhub, level crossing removals, train network operations and maintenance (MR5), bridge and road upgrades and the transition to electric bus fleets and charging systems.

This market update will provide a concise snapshot of current and upcoming packages, along with a clear guide to where demand is landing for Victorian manufacturers, engineering services and specialist contractors.

Event objectives

The event is designed to:

  • Provide a practical guide to the current market status of key Victoria’s transport projects, including SRL, NELP, Sunshine Superhub, level crossing removals, MR5 and EV bus programs.

  • Explain recent changes to Local Jobs First Policy settings for 2026 and how these translate into real local content and procurement opportunities for transport supply chain businesses.

  • Help industry better understand where and how to engage with major project owners, Tier 2 and Tier 3 contractors.

Why attend

Attending this session gives transport-focused suppliers the chance to:

  • Hear up-to-date information on released and upcoming work packages across road, rail, rolling stock, tolling systems and related digital and services scopes, with a specific emphasis on opportunities for Victorian industry.

  • Ask targeted questions on the day, including via the registration form, to ensure the briefing addresses real-world challenges and information gaps facing your business.

  • Replace previous one-on-one meetings with ICN’s Industry Advisers by accessing her insights in a structured, interactive setting tailored to the broader transport supply chain.

Who should attend

This event is intended for:

  • Supply chain members, including manufacturers and fabricators supplying products, components and systems into major transport projects.

  • Service providers, Tier 2s, Tier 3s, engineering and OEM suppliers involved in design, delivery and maintenance across Victoria’s transport network.
