Every seat at this table puts an instrument in a student’s hands.

Join iAM MUSIC Institute for Marley at Mahogany, an intimate evening celebrating the music and legacy of Bob Marley while supporting the next generation of musicians in Southwest Colorado.

Set inside Mahogany Grille in downtown Durango, this elegant seated benefit brings together live music, special student performances, and a Caribbean-inspired four-course dining experience with complimentary beverages.

But the evening has a bigger mission:

For 15 years, iAM MUSIC Institute has worked to make music education, instruments, mentorship, performance opportunities, and creative community accessible to young musicians.

At Marley at Mahogany, our goal is to raise $30,000 to help continue that work.

Beyond purchasing your seat for this special evening, we invite you to make a direct contribution toward our $30,000 fundraising goal. Every donation helps us put instruments into students' hands and provide the instruction, mentorship, and opportunities that allow young musicians to thrive.

You don't have to attend Marley at Mahogany to make an impact. If you can't join us for the event, you can still contribute directly to the campaign and help us reach our goal.

🍽️ The Four-Course Experience

Your $150 ticket includes an intimate evening of live music and a full four-course dining experience, featuring Caribbean and Jamaican-inspired flavors created especially for Marley at Mahogany.

Passed Appetizers

Fried Plantain Chips
Smoked Scotch Bonnet pineapple salsa

Fried Coconut Shrimp
Rum, mango, and Aleppo glaze

Jamaican Beef Patties
Turmeric-seasoned puff pastry stuffed with spiced ground beef and served with oyster sauce aioli

Marley Salad

Grilled pineapple, cracked pepper, red onion, chayote squash, cucumber, feta, wild greens, toasted coconut, and passion fruit vinaigrette.

Your Choice of Main Course

Each guest will select one of three entrées when purchasing their ticket:

🥩 BEEF | Caribbean Braised Short Rib
Aleppo chili pea purée, plantain mash, and grilled chayote squash

🐟 FISH | Rum-Glazed Mahi Mahi
Moroccan rice pilaf, pickled red onions, and smoky mango chutney

🌱 VEGETARIAN | Jerk-Spiced Cauliflower Steak
Coconut curry, traditional rice and peas, and plantain crumble

Dessert

Jamaican Sweet Potato Pudding
Grilled pineapple and caramelized ginger cream

🍹 Drinks Included

A selection of complimentary beverages will be included with your ticket throughout the evening.

Guests can enjoy Prosecco, wine, a selection of 2–3 beers, and one complimentary cocktail per guest.

For your complimentary cocktail, choose from a Jamaican Rum Punch or our featured batched cocktail.

Each guest receives one complimentary cocktail total. If you select the Jamaican Rum Punch as your welcome drink, that counts as your complimentary cocktail for the evening.

At the heart of the evening is the music of Bob Marley, performed live by an incredible lineup of local musicians alongside special performances from iAM MUSIC students.

More than a tribute concert, Marley at Mahogany celebrates the ability of music to bring people together across generations and backgrounds.
