Join us for an immersive, hands-on experience in sustainable cooking at our zero-waste kitchen, nestled in the heart of the iconic Queen Victoria Market at the Purpose Precinct - powered by social enterprise STREAT.


In this workshop, you'll discover the art of marmalade-making, transforming seasonal winter citrus into bright, flavourful preserves. Learn traditional techniques for balancing sweet and bitter flavours while creating a delicious pantry staple that captures the best of the season and helps prevent good food from going to waste.


Hosted by Fiona Smith - food system and low-waste cooking champion, Renew magazine columnist, and Better Circles podcast host - who will share practical preserving skills, food waste reduction tips, and creative ideas for making the most of winter's citrus bounty.
