Before we start
Get ready, Sydney, the North vs South Babyfoot Tournament is back!
What started as a friendly challenge between two Frenchmen, one from Forestville (North) and one from Maroubra (South), has quickly grown into one of Sydney’s most fun and competitive community events.
For this new edition hosted in Maroubra, we’re raising the stakes with 32+ teams, two divisions and 10 tables battling it out throughout the day.
Players, families and supporters from across Sydney’s French and international community will come together for a day of competition, laughter and a healthy dose of rivalry.
North has won the previous editions… but will the South finally get its revenge?
Tournament Format
The tournament will run across 10 tables, with teams competing in two divisions throughout the day.
🕐 Game Duration
Matches will be fast-paced, keeping the action moving across all tables.
👥 Team Composition
Each team consists of two players ready to defend their side of the city.
🎮 Tournament Structure
32 teams total, split across two divisions
Round-robin group stages to determine rankings
The top teams advance to the knockout rounds
Semi-finals and finals will decide who takes the trophy
Bring your best teamwork, quickest reflexes and loudest supporters — and you might walk away with the title of North vs South Babyfoot Champions.

Parents and children are invited to take part in a Family Tournament, free of charge, from 13:00 to 15:30. DON'T BE LATE!
