Come along to the gateway of the Hunter Valley and experience the very first timber home of the region which was completed in 1886. Discover the past residents of Marthaville and some of the original building features.
Then get hands on with a wide range of of interactive devices and see what you discover! Will you discover any energy or a temperature change?

Then we make our way 5 minutes up the road for a hour at the Cessnock Cemetery!Â
Previous to Cessnock Cemetery becoming a cemetery there was a school on the site which had been relocated to Wollombi! The cemetery itself holds some very well known residents including a poet!
