Inspire your inner engineer on our zany Marvellous Machines day in the park!

Learn about simple machines such as screws, wedges, levers, and pulleys using natural materials and by playing games. Working in teams, you will design and build a pulley system that will be able to lift objects from the ground using a pulley system of your own design.

This engaging STEAM challenge presents an opportunity for participants to learn the engineering design process and build their own Marvellous Machine. Participants learn how to work in a team, brainstorm, plan, design a blueprint and ultimately - build a machine!

Age: 5 – 12 years

We will supervise your children over the lunch hour if you book in for Marvellous Machines II in the afternoon

Special notes: This program will go ahead in all-weather except high winds, so please come prepared with wet weather gear. Children must wear enclosed shoes.

Do not attend our programs, if

You show any COVID-19 symptoms or feel unwell.
You have travelled overseas or to a COVID-19 hotspot in the last 14 days
Your have been in contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19 in the last 14 days
You had a positive COVID-19 test result within in the last 4 months.

We will refund your ticket if you or your child show any symptoms of Covid-19 and cannot attend.
