Marvellous Mealtimes - November 2026
Description
We are pleased to share that the Uplyft early childhood approach program is delivering Marvellous Mealtimes - a workshop series to support parents to navigate mealtimes at home. Attending the full series (all three workshops) is required to build your knowledge around mealtimes routines and strategies.
These workshops will be presented online by paediatric allied health professionals and early childhood teachers.
This series will run in November 2026 on the following dates, during school hours:
Monday 2nd of November, 10:00-11:30am
Monday 16th of November, 10:00-11:30am
Monday 30th of November, 10:00-11:30am
The aim of the interactive workshop series is to build the capacity of families to create and encourage positive mealtimes. We will be providing information about factors influencing children at mealtimes, practical strategies families and carers can use at home to encourage playful food exploration and bring joy back into their mealtimes, and when and where to seek specialised help for feeding challenges.
Important information:
The program will be carried out over five (5) weeks and parents and carers must be able to attend all 3 sessions.
Registration is open for 1 - 2 caregivers from each family, where more than two parents are attending (for example, stepparents) please contact Uplyft.
Where two caregivers are attending, this can be done together or separately. Please note this when registering.
To participate in the program, attendees need to have access to a camera/webcam and a microphone.
When registering please note if you would like a facilitator to call to discuss the program and help you test your technology before the start date.
If you have not been referred to this program by an Uplyft early childhood approach practitioner, please note there will be additional sign-up requirements including providing evidence of identity and completing some questionnaires. You will be contacted upon registration to discuss the sign-up process.
This series will be suitable for families that have a child under 6 years old that is not a NDIS participant.
