Mary Oliver tribute night at Poetica

Vale Mary Oliver!
As part of Poetica's 7th birthday celebrations and shop opening - join us for a night of poetry from Pulitzer Prize winning poet Mary Oliver. We will read our favourite Mary poems and raise a glass and perhaps shed a tear or two as we listen to and reflect upon her one wild and precious life.
Poetica's Miriam Hechtman will host the night and will be reading some of Mary's poetry and playing some of Mary's audio readings. We invite you to bring along your favourite Mary poems to read aloud or perhaps just sit back and listen. A selection of Mary's books will be available for purchase on the night from Gertrude and Alice bookstore. There will also be live music. Artist TBC. 

Doors open: 6.30pm
Readings begin: 7.00pm

Entry includes a glass of wine or drink and delicious nibbles.
