Event description
When words are not enough. Free creative art therapy group for women who have been impacted by the trauma of domestic abuse.
The experience of expressing oneself through creative activity has been found to assist in the promotion of physical, emotional, cognitive and social integration and functioning. The consequent insights and personal understandings can be instrumental in facilitating change.
The class is run by a qualified art therapist, all materials provided and no art experience is needed.
This class runs for 6 weeks from either;
Monday 6 February - 13 March
Wednesday 8 February - 15 March
PLEASE ENSURE YOU REGISTER FOR CLASSES EITHER ON MONDAYS OR WEDNEDAYS
We understand that unforeseen circumstances arise that may require cancellation on a particular day. However, due to the nature of the class, those that enrol are asked to commit to the 6 week program.
