Masquerade Dance Party

Our biggest event of the year is here! Get ready for a night of elegance and excitement at our Masquerade Social Dance Party.

Time: 5 pm - 11:00 pm

Location: TUSA Building - UTAS Sandy Bay Campus

Kick off the evening with a Beginner Salsa Crash Course from 5-6:30 pm, then dance to the infectious rhythms of Son del Sur, the renowned Tasmanian Salsa Band. Prepare to indulge in a delightful array of Latin-inspired dishes and be dazzled by live demonstrations of Salsa, Bachata, Tango, Rueda, Kizomba, Contemporary and Sri Lankan dance. 

Prizes for the best-dressed guests, so dress to impress in your finest attire and mask, and get ready for an evening of elegance, music, and dance!

CRASH COURSE - Learn all the basics of salsa in this 90 minute crash course, right before the party. No need to bring a dance partner, as we will rotate partners in class. No previous dancing experience needed, so invite your friends!
