About the Class: This course will help massage entrepreneurs and those who are employees develop their career plans and business plans. We will focus on the entrepreneur mindset, treating the business plan as a living organism, and practice some visionary exercises to help with your meditations, vision, and manifestations.

What to Bring: Bring note-taking supplies, current business plan, or business journals. Optional: sketchbooks and art supplies.

About the Presenter: Essie began her journey in the healing arts and massage in California at the Mt. Shasta Herbal Company, where she apprenticed after completing high school. Growing up in a family of bodyworkers and herbalists, she has dedicated her life to the exploration of natural healing.

Essie's journey in the healing arts commenced in the tranquil landscapes of California, where she completed her apprenticeship at the Mt. Shasta Herbal Company after graduating from high school. Growing up in a family deeply passionate about bodywork and herbal medicine, she cultivated a strong dedication to natural healing from an early age.

Her formal education in this field began at the Alexander School of Natural Therapeutics in Tacoma, WA. In 1999, she became a licensed massage therapist, which marked the beginning of her professional career. Essie's commitment to learning persisted; she earned a bachelor's degree in social science from Washington State University, expanding her understanding of human behavior and societal interactions. Her educational path also led her to Uppsala, Sweden, where she pursued studies in education, followed by a master's degree in public administration from Seattle University. Additionally, Essie sharpened her conflict resolution skills by becoming a certified mediator through the Thurston County Dispute Resolution Center.

Essie's business, Dreamspace Natural Therapeutics, is a reflection of her lifelong commitment to wellness and education. The company specializes in delivering high-impact continuing education for massage therapists and wellness centers, while also providing advisory and consulting services to businesses within the wellness industry. Through Dreamspace, Essie shares her extensive knowledge and passion for natural healing, inspiring and empowering others to delve into this holistic field.
