Massive Attack - Blue Lines - studio engineer interview & album listening session
Description
In the wake of Massive Attack's recent live dates here in Australia, we are extremely fortunate to have this opportunity to hear from Jeremy Allom, studio engineer on the band's debut album Blue Lines in conversation with Memorial Hall programme curator, Phil Nicholas.
Now a Bellingen local, Jeremy reflects on his experiences recording Massive Attack's early music - how did the band work in the studio? how democratic was the creative process? what prodcution techniques were employed that gave Blue Lines it's unique atmosphere?
Following the discussion, sit back as we listen to the album in full on Kingfisher Audio's flagship Dacelo speakers, handmade from reclaimed hardwood veneers right here in Bellingen Shire.
Capacity limited to 50 - don't miss out, book now.
