A Massive Fundraising Dinner

Join us for an unforgettable evening celebrating Massive Theatre Company, where you’ll enjoy exceptional whānau style dining by world-renowned chef Peter Gordon ONZM, and tasty wine pairings courtesy of Villa Maria. For one night only, celebrate one of Aotearoa’s longest-running theatre companies with unmissable entertainment by award-winning comedian Kura Forrester, a big quiz, and fabulous auction items up for grabs. We're opening the doors of our Wharenui in Grey Lynn for a relaxed one-off all-inclusive evening of food and fun!

Peter Gordon (Ngāti Kahungunu ki Wairarapa / Ngāi Tahu / Clan Gordon) has been gathering ingredients, textures and techniques from across the world's kitchens, paddocks and oceans for more than forty years, combining them in thrilling new ways to fill our bellies. The Godfather of Fusion cuisine has eight books and numerous tv shows to his name, a roll call of award-winning restaurants including The Providores & Tapa Room, Kōpapa and The Sugar Club in cities including Istanbul, London and New York. Peter has long been a friend and fan of Massive and what we do for rangatahi and emerging artists across the motu.

Founded in 1991, Massive is a registered charity (Massive Company Trust – CC38595). Your purchased ticket is an invaluable donation to support Massive’s ongoing mahi in the arts community which includes dozens of free annual workshops for young people and countless hours of professional development for emerging and professional actors, writers and directors.

The Evening:

🥂 Arrive from 6:00pm for canapés and Villa Maria’s Méthode Traditionnelle.

🍽️ Be seated at 6:30pm for a three-course whanau style dining experience by Peter Gordon and wine pairings presented by Villa Maria Group Winemaker, Dave Roper, beers from Hallertau Brewery, plus non-alcoholic options.
