About this Masterclass:

Practicing self-advocacy is an important part of ensuring that your hard work and accomplishments lead to achieving your goals be that political, personal or professional. So we’ve asked Fiona Pearman, one of Australia’s leading experts on career, confidence and personal brand, to join us for an interactive and in-depth workshop where they will help you unpack some of the roadblocks and barriers that can get in the way of being your own best advocate when it comes to achieving your political ambitions.

Fiona has worked with many corporations, not for profit and community organisations as well as with thousands of talented women who want to make more impact in their world. She’s a passionate supporter of achieving gender equity at all decision making tables – including in our political parties and government. Having coached men and women for many years, a common theme emerged – accomplished, successful women were not owning and sharing their value, they were shy about advocating for themselves, and the result is, we as a society miss out on their brilliance and their full contribution.

One of the recent federally elected MPs said recently “Thanks so much for your support Fiona, I may not be here without it” – she attended this Masterclass in 2021 and our public Women in Leadership program.

Women like you support their communities in so many ways. From running school P&C’s and local sports clubs, to establishing businesses, social enterprises and community campaigns as well as co-ordinating drought and bushfire relief for neighbours. These leadership skills are highly transferable to elected Public Office, where you can leverage them within, and beyond, your immediate community.

We need more women like you at the table where decisions are being made; at all levels of government.

This interactive session will run for 90 minutes. You will need: a computer, access to reliable wifi and social media, a headset and a ‘get elected’ attitude.

Please note your zoom link will be sent 2 hours before the event and that this event will not be recorded.
