Master class with hey dee ho education and Victoria University
Event description
In this exclusive Master Class, hey dee ho share their skills, experience, and deep understanding of early childhood development with Victoria University early childhood education students.
This interactive session showcases how play-based learning — through music, movement, mindfulness and storytelling — can support and enhance developmental outcomes for children from birth to age five.
hey dee ho’s expert presenters demonstrate their four educational programs, each grounded in research and aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards:
hey dee ho music – Music, dance and Auslan signing
active 8 – Energetic fitness and physical development
fun-key yoga – Mindfulness, strength and coordination
the fiction factory – Drama, storytelling and literacy
Each program also embeds Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives, mindfulness, and a commitment to gender equality, ensuring inclusive and meaningful learning experiences for all children.
