Transform your passion for helping others into a meaningful career with Adelaide University’s Master of Social Work. This two-year degree is designed for people who want to drive positive change and support individuals, families, and communities facing challenges such as mental health, inequality, poverty, and social injustice.
You’ll build advanced knowledge in social work theory, human rights-based practice, policy, and ethics, while gaining practical skills in areas like mental health, community development, and child and family services. A hallmark of the program is its strong focus on practice: you’ll take part in simulated professional interactions in purpose-built studios and complete up to 1,000 hours of supervised industry placements, preparing you to step confidently into the profession.
