    RESTORING THE EARTH

    Hosted by: Morag Gamble

with Guests: Rosemary Morrow & Rob Allsop

Why is being an earth restorer so important at this time?  How can we all take up this call to action wherever we are and share ideas and practical strategies?

How can permaculture educators and practitioners myceliate this [pr]activism and be in service to ecosystems and communities in parts of the world being affected the most by climate change?

Join permaculture elder and [r]evolutionary educator, Rosemary Morrow and permaculture illustrator Rob Allsop. Rowe and Rob recently released a new book, Earth Restorer’s Guide to Permaculture published by Melliodora Publishing. The Permaculture Education Institute is a proud partner in getting the book published. In her introduction, Rowe says "There is nothing presently available which is like permaculture and based on a design and system approach. My conviction from evidence is that permaculture can transform lives to buffer climate change, build community resilience and improve the future. The best gift for our children is a world restored".

PS: We have had questions about how to properly register - please make sure to put a number in the ticket box regardless of whether you choose to donate.

    ABOUT OUR GUESTS:

Rosemary Morrow OAM is a globally renowned permaculture teacher, author, speaker and agricultural scientist. Her latest book Earth Restorer’s Guide to Permaculture brings together 40 years of experience travelling the world teaching permaculture as a restorative practice; and designing regenerative living systems with farmers, refugees, city planners, and backyard gardeners alike. Endorsed by the United Nations as part of their Decade on Ecosystem Restoration, Earth Restorer’s Guide to Permaculture shares evidence-based tools to support us to live in a restorative relationship with all life.

Rob Allsop has worked closely with Rosemary Morrow to illustrate both the Earth User’s Guide to Permaculture and her most recent book. His simple clear B&W illustrations make Rowe’s ideas visible and transferable globally.

While this is a free event, we recommend a donation of $10-20, however, no one will be turned away. 100% of the money raised from this event will be sent immediately to refugee earth restoration and community resilience projects that we work closely with and are part of the Permaculture for Refugees network that Rosemary founded.
