WHY MUMS MAKE AMAZING PERMACULTURE TEACHERS!

Mums are naturals at creating conditions for people to thrive - holding diversity, listening, noticing, uncovering possibilities, helping others find solutions, connecting, paying attention to patterns and details, creatively adapting to change, weaving together multiple interests and needs, uplifting others, gathering and sharing inspiration, offering diverse learning opportunities, hosting gatherings, being in conversation with local community, nurturing resilience and well-being, tending to relationships, holding safe spaces, caring for the future, and just simply making things happen with what’s in front of you. 

These are ALSO qualities of amazing permaculture educators - not just for children, but for all kinds of groups.

That’s why I am focussing this interactive masterclass on mums as permaculture educators - how mums and permaculture teaching go together beautifully, and invite you to explore together with me and ask your questions.

[Yes of course, I know others can also be great permaculture teachers :-)  but I’m sharing here specifically from what I have experienced as a mum and in the company of other mums around the world, and it is not something I’ve seen much attention paid to.]

Every week I get so many beautiful emails from people, particularly early to mid-career women, searching genuinely for advice for a different way forward  - a way to live and work in balance, and with deep love and care for the planet and family simultaneously. "...I have been meaning to reach out to you for a while … I am making a difference to a certain extent in my work...but I would like to do SO MUCH MORE and what you have done on your journey resonates with what I'd like to do, especially now that I also have 2 little ones. We'll share all kinds of examples  and curriculum that you can tap into, copy and adapt. (We've been doing this for decades).
