Event description

UNFORTUNATELY THIS MASTERCLASS HAS BEEN POSTPONED.  WE WILL BE HAVING A VIRTUAL NETWORKING EVENT INSTEAD.

Hiam Bio

Hiam Sakakini is passionate about human and business transformation. She spent ten years as a senior leader at Google, moving from Sales Manager to Head of Leadership Development for Google Asia. She saw the organization move from 21b to 110b revenue. Her job was to ensure that every Googler had a meaningful career experience by ensuring every leader embodied the values at Google.

Hiam believes culture is the biggest differentiator in business and wants to ensure that every start-up and every scaleup can thrive rather than just survive.

As a result Hiam founded The Culture Equation, a management consultancy to create high impact, high performing, healthy cultures.

She helps leaders and founders find their voice and their purpose.

Masterclass overview

Culture is lived and breathed through every interaction within an organisation. More and more of those interactions are happening virtually, in slack channels, zoom meetings and endless docs living in a spaghetti junction of folders and project management tools.

So how do we go about creating a culture of kindness that lives within these new virtual walls? How do we clearly demonstrate what is acceptable and unacceptable behaviour especially as we encourage ‘authenticity’ and ask people to ‘bring their whole selves to work’? What are the brave decisions leaders need to make in this new reality?

Hiam will walk you through;

  • 3 key Culture pillars you need in this new reality
  • How to create trust with your executive leadership team
  • What to do with the ‘squeaky wheels’

This session will be hosted for a small group and will be lively and interactive using the full Zoom functionality!
