The Women for Election online Masterclass Series is a highly practical non-partisan program that provides women with knowledge on key topics relating to how to campaign at all levels of government. These events provide a detailed look from industry or topic experts to assist you in building your confidence and understanding.
This session will run for 90 minutes. You will need: a computer, access to reliable wifi and social media, a headset and a ‘get elected’ attitude.

About this Masterclass:
Political and advocacy campaigns are a team effort. This campaign strategy workshop will provide participants an overview of how to put a campaign strategy together & tools to aid the development of a strategy.
You will gain insight on the best ways to message a campaign and maximize its impact, interpret and incorporate polling and testing data, and compile information.
If you are a campaign staffer, a candidate, a volunteer, an activist or anyone interested in impacting public policy, this workshop is for you!
Darrin Barnett is the Former Press Secretary to Julia Gillard and a veteran of the Canberra Press Gallery. He has worked on several key federal and state level election campaigns and in recent times assisted Independent candidates in achieving significant victories.
He is a long-term lobbyist focusing with extensive contacts across politics and media and has broad experience as a media spokesperson and commentator across television, radio, print and online.
