Event description

This Masterclass will now be pre-recorded and a link will be sent to all ticket holders on Wednesday 4 August.

Join Dr Melanie Heyworth for a Masterclass on partnering with schools for inclusion. We will discuss what inclusion actually is (and isn't), and examine some ways that we, as parents and carers, can partner with our child's school to achieve the inclusion that our Autistic children have the right to expect. This Masterclass will refer to Australian laws and to the specific Australian educational context.

Please note: this Masterclass is not an introduction to Autism, and a level of knowledge about Autism and neurodiversity will be assumed.

So that you are able to view the Masterclass at a time that is suitable for you, and can revisit it if needed in the future, all participants will have ongoing access to the recording of the Masterclass.

Did you know? If your child has an NDIS plan that includes a budget line for parent education, and you are plan- or self-managed, you can claim your registration costs for Reframing Autism events from your child’s NDIS funding.
