Overview

Disinformation and Misinformation are pervasive issues undermining the ability of governments and organisations to build and sustain trust with communities.
This Masterclass will empower participants with the knowledge and skills to develop their own strategy to proactively reduce and manage Disinformation and misinformation for their infrastructure or energy project, or their organisation.
Drawing on the recommendations of the world-first Disinformation in the City Response Playbook, this interactive masterclass will be framed around the three-phase response contained in the playbook: Pre-emption & Early detection; Pre-bunking & Spread Prevention; De-bunking & Recovery. Participants will also learn from each other’s experience as they discuss specific initiatives and responses that they can apply in their own work.
