Dr. Mayuri Wijayasundara. Director, Anvarta
Mayuri is a leading expert in strategy and transformation specialising in transition towards a circular economy. She currently leads Anvarta, a consulting practice that helps organisations transition to a regenerative model. She was engaged as Circular Economy Expert at UN Habitat.
Mayuri was a tenured University academic leading multiple research programs in circular economy until 2021 and has authored several research articles. She is a contributor to acclaimed international forums such as the World Economic Forum.
Prior to that, she was a senior industry practitioner leading programs in Asia Pacific, in resource recovery and building material industries. Mayuri obtained her PhD from the University of Melbourne and is a Chartered Global Management Accountant of CIMA, UK. She currently holds several board and advisory committee positions in public and private sector, industry bodies and professional organisations.

Tim Grant. Director & Founder, Lifecycles
Tim Grant is the director and founder of Lifecycles, Australia’s most experienced provider of circular economy and sustainability research, consulting, tool development, emission factors and LCA training.
With more than 30-years’ experience working in LCA, he has been instrumental in the development of data and leading-edge scientific support for sustainability tools, including PIQET “Packaging Impact Quick Evaluation Tool”, a streamlined LCA tool designed for the packaging industry.
Tim is a pioneer of LCA, both domestically and internationally, as the founding president and long-time board member of Australian Life Cycle Assessment Society (ALCAS) and co-chair Ecosystem Services taskforce within the United Nations, supported Life Cycle Initiative.
At present, Tim is leading a two-year project on the impacts of single-use plastic products and their alternatives for the Australian and New Zealand governments.
