Hosted by: Museum of Sticks & Stones and STUFFit Student Film Festival
Workshop Overview: Join us for an engaging and interactive 90-minute workshop designed exclusively for the students of Stuffit. Led by the Museum of Sticks & Stones, this workshop will explore essential skills for navigating conflict, particularly in storytelling, listening actively, and crafting compelling stories about humanity.
Dates:Â 7th and 14th August
Times: 10:30am to 12:00pm
Cost: $10 for both sessions
Key Concepts:
- Good Conflict:Â Learn how to navigate conflict constructively, preserving your sense of self and identity while understanding and respecting differing perspectives.
- Active Listening: Develop the ability to listen actively, not just listening to respond, but to truly understand and engage with others’ viewpoints.
- Storytelling Skills:Â Acquire basic storytelling skills that focus on the human experience, enabling you to create narratives that resonate with audiences on a deeper level.

- Techniques for effective conflict resolution.

Participants will have the opportunity to put these skills into practice the following week as we guide them through interviews with the public.
