Mastering Stress: Practical ways of cultivating inner resilience

Come and meet four holistic health practitioners who will be sharing their insights and take-home tips for managing and reducing the impacts of stress on our nervous systems, overall health and emotional wellbeing.

Full of tips from the worlds of nutrition, naturopathy, holistic healing and relaxation, the talks offer you ways of finding your calm so you can better navigate life’s ups and downs. 

You’ll come away from the event with:

  • Nutritional tips, and the foods that harm and help when stressed
  • Mindset pointers for improving self-care and being present
  • Relaxation advice for de-stressing your nervous system
  • Naturopathy and natural remedies for finding your calm

This holistic health event is being held on Saturday 3rd August 2024 from 9.30am to 12.30pm at Retravision Stadium, 156 Lockyer Avenue, Albany. After the talks there will be an opportunity for questions and to meet the practitioners.

Cost is $10 per ticket (plus booking fee) to cover the venue hire and light refreshments.

Spaces are limited. Booking is recommended to reserve your spot and avoid disappointment (tickets at the door may be possible).

The speakers

Julie Hooper is a registered nutritionist, physiologist, educator and wellness coach who will be speaking about the impacts of food on your brain and functioning. 

Rachael Bryden is a mindset coach covering what ‘being present’ can do for us and why it’s so important for our self care. 

Toria Macgregor is a reflexologist who will be talking about how the nervous system works and demonstrating key reflex points to help you instantly ground and centre. 

Conny Wehland is a naturopath and lymphoedema therapist who will be offering insights on how to manage and reduce stress. 

Event organisers

This event is hosted and organised by the Holistic Healthcare Network, a dedicated group of holistic practitioners, therapists and educators in the Great Southern who have come together to help empower our community to live healthier lives.
