The main focus is mentorship in your studio practice, helping you develop and refine your creative ideas with ongoing discussion, support, and direction. Throughout the day, guidance will be provided on: Understanding the sources of your ideas and capturing inspiration Developing and categorizing concepts to grow a unique body of work Alongside your studio time, there will be mini-session demonstrations: Making your own drawing tool — a playful way to loosen up and create interesting marks Creative line-making — exploring expressive, intuitive techniques This session is ideal for artists who want to begin the year with clarity, momentum, and purpose, while continuing to work on their own series.
