Event description

Matakanarama is a 3-night celebration of music, art, and self-expression set in the lush surrounds of Aotearoa’s Matakana region. With a limited capacity of 1,500, this boutique festival is delivering a community-driven New Year’s experience like no other.

Expect a refreshing variety of electronic music, live bands, and art installations—all powered by a mix of established and emerging artists as well as you.

Dance with your mates, browse handmade fashion stalls, or soak up the sun at the beautiful nearby beaches, Matakanarama 2025 will be one for the books.

We can’t wait to see you on the hill!
