Event description

Outloud & Bankstown Arts Centre, in collaboration with Gerome Te Peeti, are excited to present Matariki: Written in the Stars!

Bringing together Māori and First Nations artists, come and celebrate the Māori New Year as we commemorate the rising of the Seven Sisters Star Constellation with a Matariki community celebration.

We'll enjoy performances from Kapahaka Group, Te Hoe ki Matangireia and Yidaki & Aboriginal Performance from Dhinawin Yaarn, as well as Star Stories of Australia and the Pacific, a conversation led by Gerome Te Peeti.
