Matcha tasting experience from Marukyu Koyamaen part2

Hi, I am a tea and matcha lover. I want to gather some like-minded people to enjoy drinking matcha and explore the flavor together. Since we have a few people asking for the matcha experience. Here is the second one. 

At this event, we will explore 4 different high grade matcha together(5actually, one for welcome drink). This event will mainly focus on the tasting/ sensory experience instead of the Japanese tea ceremony experience.

The event will start around 4pm on 16April. welcome drink to start with from 4:00-4:30pm. Then we will get the party startThe whole experience comes with three parts

1. “Matcha 3 ways” to explore what’s your favourite ways to enjoy matcha.

• A. matcha espresso (Usucha style)
• B. matcha ice LB
• C. Matcha ice latte

2. We will look into some of the sensory components of matcha tasting by using “usucha style”. This is more serious but interesting to explore with pure high quality matcha
• astringency/ sweetness/ umami/ aftertaste/ bitterness

3. Third part is a fun section. “Matcha Mocktail” I will make some drinks for all of you. But I might also offer some matcha concentrate and other ingredients for you to experimenting
• soda
• tonic water
• jasmine tea syrup
• matcha cream
• coconut water
Finish with my fav matcha drink I experience lately.I am excited to taste all the different high-grade matcha with you together. It will be an enjoyable experience:)
