MATES in Manufacturing General Awareness

Come along to participate in a MATES in Manufacturing General Awareness session.

MATES is an integrated industry intervention program and charity that raises awareness of suicide as a preventable problem, builds stronger and more resilient workplaces, connects workers to appropriate help and support, and partners with researchers to inform industry around best mental health practice.

Find out how MATES train workers in the workplace to improve mental health and suicide prevention literacy, increase help seeking and help offering and engage the workforce in creating a mentally healthy workplace.

Meet your local MATES Field Officer who will support workplaces to create on-site networks supporting each other and the worksite in preventing suicide and becoming mentally healthier.

Whilst our main focus is on Manufacturing businesses in the region, we know the content of this workshop is relevant for many people in the community so if you are interested is some basic suicide intervention awareness and the opportunity to register for a FREE half day internationally certified workshop in the near future then we encourage you to come along and experience what the MATES program is about.
