Mates in Mining Reconnector Ulan Surface 3rd September 2024

We are excited to offer Re-Connector, a session designed as a refresher of the skills learned in previous Connector sessions.
Attendance numbers will mirror those of Connector, with a maximum of 30 and a minimum of 10 participants.

Location: Ulan Surface Operations Training Room
Date: 3rd September 2024
Tim: 7:00am - 9:00am

Session Duration: The session will run for approximately 2 hours and will cover the following key topics:

• De-briefing: An opportunity for attendees to share their experiences, discuss how they’ve used the skills gained from Connector, and explore ways to maintain safe debriefing and stay 'Connected' with one another.
• safeTALK Refresher: A review of the world’s best practices in noticing and responding to individuals presenting invitations to potential thoughts of suicide, as recommended by LivingWorks.
• Self-Care and Personal Mental Wellbeing: A discussion on self-care strategies, including how to check in with ourselves regularly and build personal resilience.
• ASIST Training Interest: Gathering expressions of interest from participants who have not yet volunteered to become ASIST-trained for their site.
  
  Please note: This training is ONLY for people who are already Connector/ ASIST trained 

Additional Information: Participants will have the chance to provide anonymous feedback via a QR code, and a digital certificate will be issued upon completion of the session.
