Mathnasium’s Financial Literacy Bootcamp for Grades 3–7 is a hands-on 3-day program where children learn how to earn, save, spend, budget and make smarter money decisions.

Through games, challenges and real-life scenarios, they’ll explore:

💼 Earning & Pay — jobs, wages and where money comes from
🐷 Saving — setting goals and making money last
🛍 Smart Spending — needs vs wants, comparing prices and spotting better deals
🏷 Discounts — percentages, coupons and deciding whether a sale is really a bargain
🧮 Budgeting — working within a fixed amount and making trade-offs
💳 Banking & Credit — deposits, withdrawals, debit, borrowing and interest

⭐ Final Day: The Mathnasium Money Economy

Students put everything into practice by taking part in a mini economy where they:

Work jobs → Earn money → Use a bank → Save → Shop → Budget → Make financial decisions

It’s not just about calculating money — it’s about learning how to make decisions with it.

From “Can I buy it?” → to “Can I afford it?” → to “Is it actually worth it?”
