Calling adults and children (age 5+) for an afternoon of mathematics play, art and creativity
- Learn: Explore mathematical concepts in visual, creative and playful ways
- Create: Spend time observing and/or creating mathematical ARTefacts using colour, pattern and creative mathematics principles
- Observe: Enjoy hearing how different people/brains approach the activities

This online community event will run on Tuesday 20 May. 4:30PM — 5:30PM.
The session will be recorded for participants to access OnDemand.
Spaces are limited and registrations close 9PM Monday 19 May 2025.
All event profits will go towards Spur Afrika's College fund.

Alex Box. Alex is an experienced primary teacher, learning specialist and maths tutor. As a formerly maths-anxious student herself, Alex brings important perspectives to conversations about maths teaching and learning. Alex mentors teachers and families, and consults to various organisations and schools. She is the Founder of Maths Play, a community research project providing maths outreach to families, teachers and schools.
