Maths Readiness Test
As a part of your Engineering degree, you must complete subject MATH 1021: Mathematics for Engineers Preliminary or equivalent before moving on to MATH 1016: Mathematics for Engineers 1.
Students who feel that they have advanced mathematical skills because they have received high results in extension maths at high school can attempt this exam, which covers questions on algebra, trigonometry, calculus, theory of functions and other relevant skills. Students who receive a mark of at least 80% in this test can move directly to MATH 1016.
