Matthiessen State Park Hike

Join us on Saturday, March 8th, for an unforgettable hiking adventure through the stunning landscapes of Matthiessen State Park, located near Oglesby, Illinois. Known for its dramatic canyons, waterfalls, and unique rock formations, Matthiessen is the perfect destination for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts.

This hike is a fantastic opportunity to:

• Enjoy breathtaking views of the park's rugged terrain.
• Experience the tranquility of the forest trails and cascading waterfalls.
• Meet and connect with fellow adventurers who share a love for the outdoors.

EVENT DETAILS:

• 10:00 AM – Meet at The Long Room
• 10:30 AM – Depart
• 12:30 PM – Arrive at the hike entrance
• 1:45 PM - Snack break on the trail.
• 3:00 PM – Conclude hike 
  
• 3:30 PM - Depart back to The Long Room
