Mātua Fiafia Night is all about coming together to honour and celebrate our amazing mātua and to see the joy and life that has been rebirthed in every mafutaga, displayed on stage! Where it is usually the children showing their parents/grandparents performances we have switched it up to give a time for our seniors to showcase their skills and talents. Something that might've been a memory for them as children is now being recreated in their later years, bringing back a childlike faith and joy.
It’s a night where we invite family, friends, and the community to come together and celebrate their mātua mātutua. There will be some light refreshments and merchandise available for purchase on the night. All proceeds that are raised go directly back into programs and activities that help to keep mātua connected, socially active and thriving.
