Maximising Engagement - using an individual's passion to engage, develop rapport and teach

Professional Development Masterclass

Developing a rapport and using an individual’s strengths and passions is fundamental in maximising engagement and creating meaningful learning.  When an individual has a strong rapport with their team and is supported to learn utilising their strengths and passions they are on a path to achieving their potential.

This Masterclass session will focus on developing professionals understanding on the why’s and how’s of building a rapport and using passions to engage a person on the spectrum to set them up as lifelong successful learners.

Suitable for professionals supporting individuals of all ages.

All participants will receive a certificate with the workshop title, the number of hours and will state that the training links to the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers (where appropriate).

If this workshop is full, please contact Emma Bennett on ebennett@autismsa.org.au.

Professional Workshops are designed for any individuals who support an individual on the autism spectrum on a professional or volunteer basis. The workshops provide examples and strategies that are relevant for professionals.
