MIKE:
Mike Struwin, who began playing music at the age of 13 has long been a force in the regional music scenes of West Michigan, for lyrics and music imbued with a sense of honesty, empathy and authenticity. The Michigan native released his first collection of original songs at the age 17 and has given no signs of stopping, recently unveiling his ninth studio album entitled, “Ginger Peach”. The album, “Ginger Peach ” contains 11 songs drenched in love and “one-drop” grooves. Featuring Matt Sypian on drums and the three-part harmonies from our very own vocal “powerhouse”, The Backups, “Ginger Peach ” conjures up memories of care-free summer days, fun in the sun and lazing on the beach.
