What to Expect?
[Re]Launch Co-Founder Connect is designed to demystify the co-founder journey. You’ll hear directly from experienced co-founders during a live panel conversation, followed by a networking workshop to help you find the right co-founder fit.
Run in partnership with RUSU, Startmate, and Forward Talent, the event is designed to foster meaningful conversations and support emerging teams to get ready to apply for the [Re]Launch Incubator program.
We’re also keen to meet those who may not yet have a startup idea, but are passionate about innovation, teamwork, and solving real-world challenges in sustainability and circular economy. Those with an idea who are interested to find a new co-founder are also encouraged to join. Schedule:

About the Speakers
Moderated by Activator's own Rahul Soans, this expert panel will share lessons and stories about the co-founding experience.
Maisy Bennett is a startup strategist and operator with deep experience across early-stage ventures. As Head of Founders at Startmate, she leads the founder and fellowship programs, supporting Australia and New Zealand’s most ambitious talent. Maisy has helped build and scale startups in climate tech, sustainability, and SaaS, and previously founded Mudita Organics, a purpose-driven consumer brand.
Archer Simmondsis a Co-Founder of Huddled, a startup on a mission to tackle student isolation and build stronger campus communities. Driven by his own experience of disconnection during university, Archer and his co-founders created a platform designed to foster belonging and reduce dropout rates across higher education.
Julien Viard is the Director and a Principal Consultant at Forward Talent, an agency that supports startups and businesses with recruitment. He’s an expert in recruitment across digital, emerging tech, and innovation.
