May Practice and Connection Forum 

Brain Architecture: The Impact of Trauma on a Child's Developing Brain.

An overview of a child's development with a family, community, and support services lens. Building practitioner's understanding of early experiences and intervention, as well as building a knowledge base for practitioner's working with children and family systems. Resources for practitioner's and families provided, plus a discussion of programs and referral pathways.

    The Gippsland Family Violence Alliance Practice & Connection Forums are open to all practitioners working in Family Violence, AoD, Mental Health, Family Services or any other workforce prescribed under MARAM (Multi-Agency Risk Assessment) Framework.

    Each Practice & Connection Forum is designed to provide information to practitioners to build their knowledge, skills and practice around particular topics, while providing opportunities to identify and enhance collaboration between practitioners and organisations across the service sector.
