    Beginner Bootcamp:

    Pre-requisites/Additional Materials:

    • No pre-reqs! This is a 101!
    • Rope supplies (if you have them!...Β Rope and safety shears are also available toΒ borrow)
    • Creature comforts (note taking supplies, blanket/yoga mat, favorite snacks/drinks, etc)

Rope 101:Β Want to learn to tie or how to be tied? Welcome to Rope 101! In this hands-on class, you will learn basic rope safety, fundamental ties, rope bottoming basics, and foundational concepts of rope. This class is geared for rope tops, bottoms, self-tiers, and anyone else interested in rope with little to no experience or in need of a refresher. You'll learn enough in this class to be floor rope scene ready!

Rope Jizz- What Comes Next?:Β Β So, you've taken Rope 101, but now what? In this class, we’ll add a step or two to ties you probably already know to create new experiences. We'll practice different types of tensions, experiment with frictions, and explore basic rope handling skills. This beginning level class is useful for budding rope enthusiasts including tops, bottoms, self-tiers, and everyone in between.

Bottoming Basics: What are the roles and responsibilities of a rope bottom?Β What can they bring to the rope experience before, during, and after it happens?Β Though this part is focused on bottoming, tops should plan to stay engaged!Β Tops may gain a new perspective or learn more about what they can teach/expect from their bottoms.

Loose Ends- Navigating the First Rope Scene:Β There's so many things to consider when navigating your first rope scene, from asking for play, to negotiating consent, to actually doing the thing, then the aftercare. Do you have questions or advice? Bring them for this discussion and demo based class!

SnappedGinger:Β SnappedGinger (she/her) is a feisty good girl, pain slut, and rope enthusiast. When she’s not meeting new people, being bossed around, or off on a tangent about bottoming education, you’ll likely find her playing for catharsis, headspace, and/or service. She enjoys learning about a wide variety of play thanks to her indecisive nature and insatiable curiosity.

SnappedGinger started exploring rope as a bottom before accidently discovering her niche as a self-suspender. Now, she also tops rope, mostly as a service top with a preference for aggressive, sadistic, functional rope. She brings a variety of experiences and perspectives to her classes for the benefit of others.

    • Consent: Be sure to negotiate BEFORE touching someone and/or someone's belongings AND before having a rope experience with someone, even at classes. If you're not sure how to navigate consent and negotiations, please ask SnappedGinger or event staff (identifiable by the yellow lanyards).
    • RACK Space: Interact at your own risk. If you have questions or concerns at the event, please talk to SnappedGinger or event staff.
