Event description
Join us for a free webinar on October 29th as we delve into the innovative and inclusive initiatives undertaken by the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) and Melbourne Airport.
Our expert panellists will share insights into the successful implementation of the Changing Places project at MCEC, a ground breaking initiative designed to provide accessible and dignified facilities for people with disabilities. Hear from Rohan Astley, MCEC's Chief Strategy & Governance Officer, and Tim Wilson, Director of Folk Architects, as they discuss the planning, design, and construction of this vital facility.
Additionally, we'll explore the inclusive practices and services offered by Melbourne Airport, ensuring a seamless and comfortable travel experience for all passengers. Wendi Pearce, Head of Traveller Experience, will share an update on the Airport Assist pilot program. Launched in September, Airport Assist is a series of “Mobility Hubs” at Melbourne Airport, designed to improve the airport experience for passengers with disability and access requirements.
This webinar is hosted by GetAboutAble and is open to everyone. Don't miss this opportunity to learn more about accessibility, inclusion, and best practices in the travel and events industry.
