We’ll dive into some of the work Adam is doing on distributed data management for the climate, the personal challenges that individuals and communities are facing in climate tech, and the ways we can overcome them. About the speaker

Adam Bumpus - Adam is a climate change solutions practitioner, entrepreneur, and academic at heart. All of Adam’s work is driven by the central theme that we can make a world that works for everyone. He is passionate about making clean energy accessible and available to all, and believes that decentralised networks that create transparency, integrity, and liquidity are key to achieving this vision.  

Adam has a doctorate from Oxford University in carbon finance, taught at Melbourne University for eleven years, and has held visiting scholar positions at Stanford University and UC Berkeley. He has published in journals on climate change solutions and technology and has worked with organisations like the UN, World Bank, and Australian governments and the private sector to develop climate tech ecosystems, investment, and innovation. He currently is a Principal in Sustainability at Senversa, an Honorary Fellow at Melbourne Climate Futures, and a Co-Founder at IOEN Tech, and The Academy Earth.
