MCF Seminar Series: Sustainable diets and planetary health literacy
Event description
About this Event
In this seminar, Mirna will introduce the Chair of Planetary and Public Health at the University of Bayreuth and highlight its research focus. She will share her academic journey, which evolves around the global concept of Planetary Health, and her contributions to public health research. Her contributions to various studies and reviews, including exploring cultural disparities in sustainable diet understanding, novel food acceptance, the digital health divide, and inequalities in social media's weight loss interventions. The ultimate aim is to develop culturally sensitive and globally applicable public health interventions and contribute to a more sustainable and health-conscious society through education.
