Welcome to the Yarns Heal Community Education Series.
2Spirits 101 - May 22nd of May 10.00 am to 4.00 pm
Please join the 2Spirits team for a yarn about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander LGBTIQ+ Sistergirl and Brotherboy cultures, identities and experiences.
The session will cover:
- Introduction to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander LGBTIQ+ Sistergirl and Brotherboy identities, and cultures
- Stories: Growing up Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander LGBTIQ+ Sistergirl and Brotherboy
- Caring for Rainbow Mob (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander LGBTIQ+ Sistergirl and Brotherboy folks)
These sessions aim to bring together support, community, and resources for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander LGBTIQ+ Sistergirl and Brotherboy folks, families and communities to thrive. This event will offer opportunities to engage in community care, peer support, discussions, skill-sharing, and co-reflecting.
