Event description

What happens when a puritanical despot cracks down on vice – and freedom – in the city of Vienna? When the city’s ruler goes on sabbatical, his deputy, Angelo, clamps down on the city population. But when Angelo persecutes an otherwise upstanding citizen for the crime of fornication, he steps over the line as he tries to seduce a nun who comes to plead for her brother’s life.
