ASBN Workshop: Measuring Building Upfront Carbon
Event description
Across the built environment industry there is greater responsibility and scrutiny around the verification of project carbon impacts. With much of carbon related to building operation being resolved through electrification and the greening of the grid, a strong focus of carbon evaluation has shifted toward material upfront carbon.
With more and more projects having targets and requirements around material upfront carbon, more and more built environment professionals require greater understanding of what is upfront carbon, how to calculate and then design/specify accordingly.
Join the Adelaide Sustainable Building Network in a workshop to improve your technical understanding of built environment upfront carbon and go through practical exercises of how to effectively calculate it. The workshop will be delivered by Ken Long, ASBN Chairperson and Regional Sustainability Manager of SA & VIC at Lendlease.
A light afternoon tea will also be provided.
