MedHack: Part II Electric Boogaloo
Event description
Here’s the hackathon you’ll still be talking about next year. We certainly have been (because we're still organising it)
MedHack: AI Hospital brings clinicians, builders and optimists into the same room for one intense weekend of problem-solving. You’ll join doctors, nurses, data scientists and students to prototype real solutions to real healthcare bottlenecks; then pitch them to leaders across health, tech and venture. Past editions were oversubscribed, drew hundreds in-room, reached tens of thousands online, and turned standout teams into ongoing collaborations.
What you’ll do
• Form an interdisciplinary team and pick a challenge track that matches your skills.
• Short Tract: build an AI that monitors simulated ward vitals and flags risk early; perfect for first-timers or clinicians new to ML.
• Long Tract: work hands-on with de-identified EMR data and industry mentors to tackle high-impact problems from the front lines.
Why join
• Build something that matters: ship a working prototype with clinical feedback on tap.
• Meet your next co-founder, CTO or first hire: our community spans 15,000+ across AI and healthcare—and our events consistently sell out.
• Get seen: finalist teams pitch at a packed showcase night to judges, investors and partners, with professional photos, video snippets and ongoing intros baked in.
• Level up fast: mentors and judges from health systems, startups and universities roll up sleeves to help you de-risk your idea.
• PRIZES!!!
